Alright, it's been a good while since I've uploaded a Soul Calibur video.

This time I am going through Tales of Souls mode with Zasalamel, who is my favourite Soul Calibur character.

Soul Calibur 3 is my favourite Soul Calibur out of'em all. It was my first, real Soul -game I ever had and... I don't know another fighting game that has as much as unlockables and (extra) content as this game. Seriously, this game beats many fighters with it's content alone. Chroncicles of the Sword(sort of an strategy game mixed with RPG and Soul Calibur elements, with custom characters), Soul Arena(different kinds of missions, as well as Arcade mode), Character Creation(for the first time in the series), Vs. Battle, Tournaments and Leagues... and fuckloads of weapons, as well as good music and great pace of the fighting. Soul Calibur IV is slow like hell, but fortunately I can always insert a Soul Calibur III disc into my PlayStation 2 system for a lot faster sword-based fighting. Too bad this game doesn't have any third-party characters. I would've liked that. And what people are complaining about the lack of online play? This game doesn't need one.

Back to the topic, the Tales of Souls is the Story Mode as some people might prefer is a game mode that probably has the biggest life span in this game. You have about 30 characters or so to go through this mode, and after completing this mode once with one character definetly doesn't mean you're done with that. Sure, you unlock the Ending movie, but guess what? At times after won certain battles, you get to choose your next path from two options the game always gives you. They of course are character-specific(like, Zasalamel can either go eliminate knowledge or physical threats threatining his plans), but you always get to choose one. Sometimes you might even face an unusual opponent because of your choice. Every character have their own paths and routes and unlocking every single cutscene for each character can take quite a while. In fact, I have all Story Mode cutscenes for only ONE character. It's that time consuming. And you also need to be fairly decent with every character to get all cutscenes as you must not lose a single time to access certain routes. Yes, every battle end after one Knockout/Ring Out.

So, uh... enjoy... I guess.
