Soulcalibur for the Sega Dreamcast emulation gameplay on the Google Pixel 7 (not the Pro model) Android phone via the Redream emulator (Premium version 1.1.98 - 2021-05-23).

I decided to upgrade to a Google Pixel 7 and figured I would see how well it handles video game emulation. For Dreamcast games, I am testing them first at 2x resolution, which actually looks really nice and crisp on the phone's display.

I am using an Xbox One controller connected via Bluetooth with this emulator.

I am using the phone's built-in video screen recorder. Note that it can have a small impact on performance, so if a game appears slightly jerky but the FPS remains solid, it typically plays smooth as butter on the phone when not recording.

There aren't a ton of settings you can really adjust with Redream compared to a lot of emulators, but here are the notable ones I am using:

INPUT
- Xbox One Wireless Controller

VIDEO
- Game Resolution: 1280x960 (you can only increase the resolution if you have the Premium version, which costs $6 and is well worth it in my opinion)
**Note that you can go even higher than this with the Pixel 7, but I did not just in case it showed a performance hit while recording gameplay on the phone.
- Game aspect ratio: 4:3 (you can mess with changing this to 16:9 widescreen or stretch mode--works well for some games, not so well for others).
- Frame skip: off
- Vertical sync: off
- Polygon sort accuracy: per-strip

SYSTEM
