this was suppose to be another Gacha video but I decided to be a bit more creative since I don't have my phone for digital art yet so here ya go.
in which Mason (Mad Sci) explains his own perspective on Soul Power and how it's not always about POSITIVITY. There's also a NEGATIVE part of their soul power as well.
to understand the context:
Scott (Sci) and Mason (Mad Sci) both have different perspective. Scott focuses on the positive part of the soul power while Mason focuses on the opposite.
And unlike Scott, Mason has the soul power to identify each of the people with supernatural powers their negative parts of it while Scott cannot. In conclusion, Mason is the ONLY character who can identify both the positive and the negative part of a person's soul power. Which is one of the main reasons why Scott doesn't want to get rid of Mason.
Now onto explaining about The Star Trio (aka The Star Sanses) and the meaning of their negatives:
Ivan (Ink), while he may be a stoic, cynical and sarcastic person, he doesn't show his weakness or anything that would result his humiliation. He's really insecure of his appearance, especially his freckles. While people acknowledge that he has an amazing art skill, he doesn't think he's good enough to make a masterpiece he will be very proud of. Which is why most of his sketches aren't finished, because he feels unmotivated from time to time.
Drake (Dream) is not what you may call an independent person. Although you always see him without Noah (Nightmare) sometimes, he always depend on his brother for his problems. He feels disappointed in himself for not knowing how to solve his problems on his own.
Blythe (Blue) may be cheery and a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who is very popular because of his friendliness, that doesn't mean he's the most purest person in his school. He has a mental illness which causes him to think of intrusive thoughts. When people's backs are turned, he's a completely different person. There are rumors circulating around that there's a serial killer who is lurking around the school. That rumor is true because the serial killer is actually Blythe. The only silver lining in the rumor is that they don't know WHO the serial killer is. They nicknamed the killer (who is Blythe) 'Yanberry', because most students figured out the pattern on how he kills people. He only kills people who are a threat (or sometimes uncomfortable flirting) towards Daisuke (Dust) or Calvin (Carrot).
(I should also tell you that people do NOT know that Calvin and Blythe are brothers because they don't look very much alike, look wise and personality wise)
And Mason gathered the three to tell them that to their faces. (like the two-faced bastardy that he is.)
