Originally criticized as being unoriginal, the 3rd Gen Pokémon lineup has gained nostalgia over the years for its Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen entries into the series. Nintendo has hit the headlines again due to yet another dump of private files associated with a hack / leak ongoing behind the scenes. With the source code of these titles we do expect a lot of fan projects to be seeded and start springing up. If you find any, download them immediately - as Nintendo will use copyright law to get them deleted, and in some cases, go after their creators as well.

In other news a new mod chip for the Nintendo Switch Lite and Mariko version of the Switch has been available for pre-order on third party seller websites after its announcement by Team Xecuter. Although some in the console modding community are skeptical of this device, the SX Lite, and many seem to think it can't be real - Nintendo seems pretty serious about it. They have requested permanent injunction against the sellers and are seeking to seize any hardware units they can track down of the SX Lite.
