Source of Madness is hands down one of the best roguelikes I have played. Loved Dead Cells and Enter the Gungeon but neither hold a candle to this one. Want beautiful scenery and characters?... It's here. Want interesting dialogue with numerous characters each and every run?... It's here. Want to feel progress even after "winning" over and over?... It's here. Fun and variable weapons?... It's here. A wonderful and accommodating soundtrack to match the highs and lows?... It's here. Source of Madness delivers on every front and does not pull any punches. The visuals and sound design are disgusting and terrifying. The gameplay is really fun and the loot system is superb. Definitely worth a purchase if you enjoy the theme or roguelikes!
