Soviet Tortoise (Music Track/Video)
2I recorded this tortoise at the The Animalarium (formerly known as Borth Zoo) in Borth, a small seaside town in mid-Wales, which has a lovely beach very similar to the Black Rock Sands beach in Porthmadog, by the caravan park; a spot worth visiting. I recently downloaded the Atomika synth, from the built in synth website Cherry Audio which has replicated the sounds from the old Soviet synth Polivoks synthesizer; a very reliable synth used in the Soviet Union, and it's surrounding republic countries in their electronic music during the final decade of the Soviet Union. Tinkering around the Atomika synth, I came up with this tune, and then added some old Soviet army marching to the existing tortoise footage.
