The newest HOI4 Dev Diary is here and it's a huge one. This dev diary might be the biggest one yet that's about the new HOI4 DLC, No Step Back. As we all know this new hoi4 dlc is about the Eastern Front. It's gonna have a lot of new features for everyone in the game with the railroads, weather and tank rework, but it's gonna also have huge changes for how Russia aka Soviet Union works in the game. Soviet Union is getting a complete overhaul in HOI4 No Step Back, it's getting a huge focus tree alongside tons of decisions and possible alternate paths that we will see in the next dev diary. I'm expecting that it's going to be about the Russian Empire and Democratic Russia. Not to mention they are also doing alternate paths for Trotsky and the other communists. I think Tommy Kay is super excited for it because of the amount of new content and obviously, TANKS!
As you will see in the video, the amount of changes they have done to the Soviets is insane, they added: Stalin's Paranoia, made part of the Russian tree just about Stalin, added new generals, added new hoi4 tanks, reworked the industry and the five year plans, created a new propaganda system that has very cool looking pictures, reworked the army tree and made penal battalions, allowed the Soviet Union World Conquest to be a lot more fun with new decisions they added that are enabled with the focus tree, Tommy Kay becoming a ginger general for the Soviets...
I mean there's so much stuff, it's hard to even cover all of it and TommyKay's brain is not like it used to be...
These new changes in the No Step Back DLC are looking like they are going to make the Soviet Union broken! Dankus Memecus's guide will be even more in use now considering that the air of Soviets seems to be worse in this new dlc than it is now. You're gonna see a lot of tank spamming by everyone that plays Russia now, at least in HOI4 Multiplayer.
This is definitely the biggest hoi4 dev diary yet and I think we are going to get an even bigger one in the one that's coming up next.
