Space Engineers | 3D Printer time-lapse (Printing the RyuKaichu production module)
12This is a short demo of what I'm planning on building in my survival game.
I most likely will share something about it soon, either a music video that will resume "the story so far" or a hilights of the gameplay.
About the printer, if you want to build something similar, take into account a few things:
- armor blocks, or any other block type, have to be placed in order to block welders from welding what is beside them. We only print what's below.
- I use a sensor with a timer block in order to automate the piston's movement.
- rotor speed should not be too high in order to give time for the welders, that are alternated with a conveyor, saving some materials for the build in general.
- rotor speed should be twice as the timer delay: for example, 90s delay for the timer and 1.5 rpm for the rotor should allow 2 passes for each "layer"
