Space Ponder | Episode: Hubble Space Telescope
1This is a homage video I made for the Hubble Space Telescope because this is my favourite thing orbiting around the earth providing us amazing unbelievable photographs and looking back in time into the cosmos. Sadly, it seems to be coming to end due to a ongoing error. (hopefully not)
The video is entirely made for my fascination about space and I do not make money from YT from any of my videos. You can feel free to use this video or parts of it.
NASA has tried using the backup computer onboard that was installed by the STS 125 crew back in 2009 when Hubble's mirror was misaligned; the crew managed to fix the mirror and galaxies were no longer out of focus. Today, the backup computer so far seems to be unsuccessful in reviving Hubble.
However, Hubble's successor, the James Webb Space Telescope is currently scheduled to launch in Oct. This telescope is 100 times more powerful than Hubble and will be able to see further back in time. Made for personal interest and not for money. I do not intend to make money from YouTube, all of my videos are simply for entertainment.
