My Twitch chat brought up SpaceBourne 2 the other day, a game that's currently in early access as I write this. It sounded phenomenal and made me curious about the first game, so I picked it up and checked it out.

I'm SO glad I did. It's a Turkish open world space game in a very traditional style, where you're given your choice of several careers and ships and have the choice of either following a story or going into the sandbox. (I opted for the sandbox for my first try.)

From there, you're free to choose your path; you can be a pirate or privateer, bounty hunter or trader, explorer or mercenary. You can basically do what you want. There are a huge number of ships you can potentially own and each has strengths and weaknesses and special abilities.

I played this for one stream and had an absolute blast. If the second one is even half of the improvement that it sounds like it is, it should be PHENOMENAL.
