Arizona Governor, Katie Hobbs, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and other dignitaries celebrated the unveiling of SPARKBOX Park. Constructed from repurposed shipping containers, the innovative solar powered, off-grid and sustainable housing units are built for quick occupancy.
This venture is a strategic partnership between the City of Phoenix, Arizona Department of Housing, and Steel+ Spark. The project is located on a vacant city owned lot and will showcase an array of solar powered housing units that can be dropped anywhere and used for multiple housing needs.
