i hate the eye doctor and i know god knows i do so im on my way there so i can finally start wearing contacts instead of glasses after like 5 months and im cruising down the road at uhh very fast and suddenly i unzone out and notice a sheriffs car on the other side of the road who just so happens to have his turn signal on to turn into my lane right behind me so as time freezes around me I'll paint the scene for you I'm on the right side of the road (obviously) and the enemy is in the left sides shoulder, theres a bunch of oncoming traffic on the left lane creating a barrier between the cop and I but the cars are moving quick and theres only so much time before the cop can make the turn into my lane so my fight or flight response activates the sympathetic division of every nerve in my body, within the minute split second i have before the traffic on the other lane gives the cop an opening to turn to my lane i suddenly gain the insatiable urge to take a hard right into a dirt path that leads to a trailhead parking spot overlooking a lake sitting next to a gigantic coal power plant this is real btw i park my car and exit my motor vehicle taking in the view so a while later my sudden desire to take this pit stop ends and i exit the dirt road back onto the main road to the eye doctors, the cop nowhere to be found today was a victory for team 15 over but tomorrow might not be so i must stay sharp out there its a dangerous place outside atleast i got some trial contacts i hate the eye doctors
