This is... definitely a speedrun, I swear. There's a leaderboard and everything: https://www.speedrun.com/Home_Alone_NES

The objective of the game is to survive for 20 minutes until the cops get to the house. There's actually nothing you can do to speed this up. You can only slow it down by pausing. Oh, and by 20 minutes, I mean 20 minutes at 60 frames per second, but the NES runs at roughly 60.1 frames per second so the actual time ends up being faster than 20 minutes. Also, as far as I know, there are multiple glitches to get the wet bandits stuck in one place, but I just did the one that I know how to do. I'm sure there are YouTube videos displaying the other methods. For whatever reason, as of date of this video, I'm the only one on the leaderboard that gets both Harry & Marv stuck. Maybe we could make a category for glitching both of them as soon as possible?

I had done a run of this on emulator two years ago, but somehow I failed to capture the sound within the emulator's recording. Now that I have a legit NES, I wanted to make a proper recording.
