I swear, I was just preparing for the Tetris Attack Chase for the Record stream on December 4 on twitch.tv/speedgaming. This was my first super-serious WR attempt stream in almost two years. My fastest run the night before was about a minute off my previous best. I had no expectations of doing anything special when I got started.
An hour later, though, I ended up with this--5 seconds real-time and 1 ingame second faster than the previous record done on emulator. After Chase for the Record, I will route this properly offline (for RNG manipulation) and go back to Panel de Pon and my quest to bop Japan.
And no, that Blargg was 29. That was my longest. I had already repressed it from my memory. I wish I could suppress it again...
