0So yeah, I guess I'm doing this now.
Spell Card Collection is a neat game made in Danmakufu ph3 by Shijimi Nono, who is, in my opinion, one of the best DNH scripters out there. His work is very creative and his patterns are mostly fun. He was previously known for his script Glorious and Huge Singer, and another game called Fairies of Sorcery. He also went later on to be a dev for Tri Focuser and Hollow Song of Birds. Explains why especially the former is a really cool and fun game. He's actually working on and off on Spell Card Collection 2, so I can't wait until the full version of that happens!
As for video stuff here: I've finally realized how I can put text into these videos without them being obstructing. I make text boxes on paint.net and put them into the video. If I remember correctly, that's how MegamanOmega handles his own, too. I'm such an idiot for not thinking of this years earlier...
Speaking of Omega, I'll be playing as MarisaB for this game too like he did. It feels like the most reliable shot to me. Maybe one day I'll beat every spell with every shot. Who knows. I'm already dreading some spells as ReimuB, so...
Anyway, for page 1, the first 8 characters are still simple enough. Although in true Shijimi fashion, even for early game bosses, they can have some tricky gimmicks. Be it whether with Mystia's already existing darkness gimmick, or Nazrin throwing bullets later on that home in on sound, or Kogasa using a pattern that makes your horizontal movement move the pattern itself. If you get used to them, you're good.
