We had to say goodbye to our sweetest hedgehog Alice, and it just never gets easier. This one hurt more, though, because I could see my own grandparents in her. She didn't just come to the conclusion that it was time. She got tired. She hurt. She needed help to just walk. She got confused easily. And in the end, while I think she knew what was happening, she still asked for her husband, and called me by her daughter's name.

Truly the most bitter of bittersweet endings, and it hurt far too much.

I'm going to need moral support for the rest of these. Please help and join me?
