No, you're not seeing things. The final boss of this game really is the Mask and you really do fight him while also wearing it. Methinks he's a total masochist. This is probably intended more as an internal struggle than anything (Rick versus the Mask's evil), but it's still a bit absurd.\n\nIf I remember correctly, this stage is where I lose my deathless run. In form two, the Mask is a total jerk who enjoys shooting homing shadows as a counter to knockdowns (also whenever he wants). Considering my best move causes knockdown frequently because he can't block, this presents a clear threat to my health bar.\n\nOf course, I just had to learn a better way to beat this boss AFTER this run was already completed. With it, there would've been a decent chance of deathless, but oh well. This run is decent enough for a fun run, so all is well.\n\nFor the (likely) few of you who watched this run, I hope you enjoyed it. Also I should insert something about the reboot or whatever being released in October, so uh...please buy it? Let's all hope that it's awesome, at the very least. :)
