The first thing that you need to do is of course build up as much of a combo as you can. Try to drift the all the turns in the beginning and draft behind everyone. Or at least one person.
Make sure you are in last place.
If you do it correctly you will get all three bars filled right before you reach the canyon (view video) then when you activate it. It is all based out of luck if they are all below the dam on not. YOU MUST GET AN ULTIMATE WRECK TO GET THE TROPHY/ACHIEVEMENT.
