One could feel the hot air filling with burning kerosene, one could hear the sound of landing gears scratching over metallic surface, one could taste the thickening smoke occupying the carrier deck; and while all the debris clouded the view, mankind paused and sat down to admire the angelic flight of four replacement tyres, glitching out of their chassis to set sail for the skies, longingly, knowing that their people would need them.
It was this exact day grandparents would tell their grandchildren about, with tears of religious joy in their eyes remembering the incomparable beauty of torn rubber and shredded metal axes parting the clouds. It was a time of joy, a time of tales, a time never to be seen again.
And damn, does the Elite Goliath suck.
