Today (September 1st) Springfield Armory did what I was hoping they or any other large manufacture would do. That being, release a double stack 9mm 1911 that's optics ready and pricing well under what most in the market were going for. In this video, we get aquatinted with the new Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy and compare it a bit to my favorite pistol I own, the Staccato XC. In short, they are both winners.
