SQUARE ENIX STOCK DROPS On Weaker Numbers! What I Do Now!
8Square Enix Stock dropped today in Tokyo following weaker numbers for Q2 2023, 79% profit drop on a 14,4% revenue (net sales) increase.
According to Bloomberg the worst intraday drop in three years, share price is now around 2020 levels.
Apparently due to lower sales numbers in Final Fantasy XVI that did not reach expectations. Remember the game is PS5 exclusive and the PS5 adoption rate is lower than many wished for.
