Sensing danger, Gi-hun predicts a night attack from those determined to continue the game. He convinces a small faction of “X” voters to hold back, arguing that the real enemy is the game’s creators.
As expected, chaos erupts—players slaughter each other while Gi-hun’s group stays hidden, emerging only when the masked guards intervene. In a bold move, Gi-hun’s team ambushes the soldiers, killing all but one and seizing their weapons. A rebellion is born!
With a captured soldier at gunpoint, they storm toward the control room—but their luck runs out. More guards open fire, and the uprising starts to collapse as ammo runs low. Dae-ho, tasked with retrieving more, suffers a combat stress breakdown and fails to return.
Player 001 suddenly turns on his allies, murdering two players before faking his own death. As the rebellion crumbles, surrendering players are executed on the spot.
Captured and helpless, Gi-hun watches in horror as Jung-bae is executed—by none other than In-ho, now masked as the Front Man.
