Two previous days, one of them during a sunny afternoon, too, the squirrels were all over the place, providing great scenes, and then I went there with my camera and tripod and they were really hard to locate and the park way noisy as hell, with shouting, talking, drumming, various sirens and such. (Any moment I expected lava to rain from the sky, hah.) And I also had mild time pressure.
Still managed to capture something unexpected though: a squirrel eating a walnut, almost from beginning to finish.
This is the intro video to that crowning event which I have documented in a separate video in 4K resolution. (I prefer to capture moving squirrels in 60 FPS, but the eating was pretty much static and I wanted to get more detail.)
