This video shows a new, home made syringe bolt for crossbows.

The starting point is a commercially made 6,5" pistol crossbow bolt. A short aluminum tube has been attached to the point of the bolt, and then a new tip is added.

The tip is very pointy at one side, but hollow from the other side. About 18mm from the point, four holes are drilled through the tip. The whole construction works as an inverted syringe - the tip is plunger and needle at the same time.

A rubber ring prevents the liquid from squirting out too early. The impact of the target forces the ring backwards, revealing the holes. The inertia of the projectile puts pressure on the liquid, which in turn squirts out of the holes with force - right into the tissue of the aggressor.

WARNING: THIS IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. DON'T DO THIS AT HOME!

The invention can easily be applied to archery arrows and so on.

A "The Slingshot Channel" production!
