I was working on an old Bianchi mountain bike that had RockShox Mag 20 forks. The forks would bottom out without a lot of weight. They are air/oil forks, and I thought they would just need some more air, maybe oil. I started looking online for service docs, but found a recall notice for these forks from 1995. These forks were made in 1992. Apparently the fork crown was prone to cracking. I tried calling the number on the recall notice, but it wasn't any good. I found a recall number of SRAM's site. Keep in mind, RockShox wasn't even a part of SRAM until 2002. So I called SRAM to ask about the recall on these 30 year forks, not expecting much. They took my name and address, and said they were going to send me some new forks. And they did. I was amazed.
FYI, I called them as a regular customer. I did not tell them I was RJ The Bike Guy, or mention anything about having a YouTube channel.
