The one thing that makes repeated attempts of this stage annoying to do is the combat section with the Robo-Hoods. There are times where you can get hit by them for no reason; and there are other times where one will be left, but the level will randomly let you continue on anyway. The rest of the level is easy-going once you memorize Kiryu's tech though.
