8SsangYong XLV-Air car, model 2016 seen in 3D. XLV-Air is the pre-production model of the long bodied Tivoli which will be launched at the beginning of 2016. XLV-Air is a multi-role SUV offering increased luggage space. Evolved from the Tivoli platform and following on from the eXciting Smart Lifestyle Vehicle concept, XLV-Air is designed to provide comfortable and safe driving, while also an enjoyable and pleasing interior environment. Externally, its dynamic, robust-looking body is sharpened harmoniously with its coupe-style floating roof line, while the spacious and contemporary interior takes its design cue from a bird’s spread wings, and highlighted by a new Geonic fabric cloth specially produced in partnership with Kolon Glotech. Extended luggage space is one of the key features of the XLV-Air, which provides a huge 720 litre loading capacity to make this family car even more practical. Like Tivoli, XLV-Air comes with a choice of 1.6 litre petrol or 1.6 litre diesel engines, and matched with the option of an Aisin 6-speed automatic or manual transmission, as well as two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
The car was shown at Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 (IAA 2015).
