Stackathon Presentation: Keyboard Cat
Jason Choe created this game using a game development library called Phaser-CE. For a game like this, it was very important to him to get a smooth and seamless playing experience where the controls and presentation felt crisp. This proved a challenging task to do in 3 days, especially for someone completely new to game development, but was satisfied with the outcome.
Jumping on ♭(flat) symbols doubles your current score, and rarely there will be a rainbow note that unlocks a bonus Nyan Cat mode with additional score, re-renders the player model, background, and changes music based on the old viral Nyan Cat video.
