S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - Heart of Chornobyl #043: Nightingale Variations (Part 1)
0This is the mission with Nightingale, where I show several variations, including one where he is killed and redoing it two more times, where he is not but there are variations in other Loners living or dying and the mutant rats attacking and not attacking.
Game note: ( I'm going to include my conversation I had on Discord about this mission: ) Part 1: "Does anyone have any experience with Nightingale? I did the Dog one with him at the Cow Farm. I took a 2nd mission, that was two marked locations. Both near each other, the Windmill village where Squint was, and the nearby pond with the Bulba anomaly. However, when I crossed the road to check out a structure, I came under attack by unseen forces, I ran back to the Cow Farm, where I heard a lot of gunfire. Then a 3-man Ward patrol showed up and the gunfire stopped. I returned to the structure and found two Loners there alive. Ward left and then I got a failure for Nightingale. I found his dead body back at the Cow Farm. Unsure who killed him, but it might have been the Loners or an unknown force. When I find an article about this, I read that if I had left the scene and went after the other two locations where I get variables. One article implied I could do Bulba and then Bandit/Dogs at Village. Another article says if I do Bandit-Dogs at Village first, the Bulba one will disappear. That's fine with me, as I didn't want to return to the Bulba. Both articles say if I did those, Nightengale would give me a call to help, from a faraway location, a village south-east of Zalissya, and I would find him dead and deal with a Bloodsucker wearing a collar. Sounds like he ends up dead no matter what. I guess more collars mean more money but since I only got one from his body, I missed out on the other collars at the other locations. I made lots of manual and quick saves, so I have variations to deal with. I want to try to defend Nightingale and try to kill those, that killed him first. At least that way I can get a collar at the Windmill village. Anyone else have different experiences with this?"
