STALKER Lost Alpha - Gameplay - First 20 Minutes
First twenty minutes from the free fan-made STALKER standalone, Lost Alpha, by dez0wave, that was released yesterday (official release date actually 26th, but it got delayed).
STALKER is an open world first person survival horror shooter set around the Chernobyl Accident site called "the Zone".

I'm not very far in yet, but I'll try to expand on the description once I get to play it more.

Also for some troubleshooting with the game, I gathered this from the internet (thanks anonymous guy):
1. my settings dont keep when I restart the game
Your computer is preventing stalker from making changes to its files. Run as Administrator or install to another drive.
-
2. Its slow
set sun rays to low/off, turn off ssao, lower grass density to around 50%, also lower Anisoptric filtering since its broken in the x3dengine
-
3. my games stopped loading
Dont use quicksave, if you ever use quicksave, you have to delete and re-install, and you lose the saves.
Also rebinding keys (especially when starting a new game) kills the game too.
-
4. I dont know what that directx redistributable is
you have to pick an install directory, it doesn't matter where, and then after installation go into the folder and run the setup file inside.
(The upper text was 90% copy pasted, and slightly edited.)
Either way, thanks for the game dez0wave and everyone else, enjoy your blowouts.
Also 90th video!
