This walkthrough is with a mod called L.U.R.K (1.1), some things like enemy types and mission objectives and a lot of other stuff are different to the Vanilla version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Only use this as reference if need be. To download this mod, please click the link below.

Played with the 'Extreme' visual settings with all the sliders turned up to max.

The definitive S.T.A.L.K.E.R mod in my opinion. Leaves nothing out of the Vanilla version yet adds so much in terms of visual and game play quality. I've turned off the cross-hairs to add realism and to further enhance the atmosphere.

The following is just some of the things that have been changed/tweaked/added:

- HDR effects for beautiful visuals. Sunrise to sunset you'll just want to see more.
- Totally overhauled HUD system. Pretty much everything is done in the inventory screen.
- 35 kilogram weight limit. Instead of hoarding weapons and ammunition, you'll now have to think strategically to survive.
- Over 80 weapons. Chosen by the LURK community, all the weapons have had a complete redo including idle animations and improved visuals.
