In terms of Multiplayer on the Nintendo 64; Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark or Bomberman 64, Star Fox 64 isn't up there with these greats. I do commend them for even putting in a multiplayer but it seems more like an after thought than a plan. The main problem with the multiplayer is no matter what you unlock there are only 2 maps, and one of them works exclusively with R-Wings. Perhaps I'm being a little too harsh here, after all this game featured Full Voice acting (except for the training stages). I feel this cartridge was filled to the brim in terms of storage capacity at the time.

Land Master in Multiplayer
- Get a Medal on Venom (Normal Mode)
Expert Mode
- Earn a Medal on all the maps
Characters in Multiplayer
- Get a Medal on Venom (Expert Mode*)
* The best way to get the medal is take the hard Venom. Easy Venom is not only relentless but it's hard to get enough clusters needed to get the needed medal.
