Star Ocean: The Last Hope - 4K & Full HD Remaster (PC) Final Battle
6My first time fighting the end boss in Star Ocean 4. Gotta say I feel I was unprepared for this, my equipment was really bad and I didn't even have the proper characters in my main party when the fight started. I didn't do a lot of grinding, I'm not a fan of SO4 and just wanted it to be over so I rushed through the end-game.
My strategy was to control Edge and bring in all the symbolgist characters. Then as Edge, hammer away at the colored orbs with all the attack skills I had. In retrospect it would have been useful to craft some amulets that had status-effect resistances to pumpkin, paralysis, freezing, etc. When the orbs are destroyed and you enter the 2nd phase, just give the boss everything you got and hope your healers do their jobs. Or if you're like me you gave Edge Faerie Star so you can manage healing if you need to.
