We were talking about this on stream a little while back. When I get a bit under the weather I like to play games which have a proper vibe to them. It used to be Guitar Hero that I'd play, but since going to a physical arcade recently and trying out one of the real pinball machines there, I finally get what the fuss is about with pinball
So now this is my go-to chillout activity, when I have 15 minutes spare, or when I want to play a videogame which is just chill, no pressure, I fire up a bit of Pinball Arcade and play a bit of pinball.
This table is my absolute favourite, Star Trek 2014 has got some brilliant aspects to it, including a whole bunch of ways to make extra balls and multi-ball modes, which appeal to a total pinball noob like me. It also happens to be the table that I played at my local arcade, so lucky me that there's an e-version of that experience!
This table is available as part of the Stern Pack 1 dlc on Pinball Arcade. I actually have decided I prefer pinball arcade over Pinball fx as I like the 'realism' aspects of Pinball Arcade - that these are intended to be simulations of real tables, rather than a videogame interpretation of what a pinball machine "could be".
No commentary on this vid - this is purely vibes only. I've been under the weather recently, so I've used up all my previously recorded content ♥

From TV Tropes:
Star Trek is a Physical Pinball Table designed by Steve Ritchie, illustrated by Greg Freres, Kevin O'Connor, and John Youssi, and programmed by Lonnie Ropp, Tanio Klyce, and Waison Cheng. It was released in 2013 by Stern Pinball, making it the fourth licensed Star Trek pinball machine.
Despite some initial scepticism, Star Trek is generally well-received by many players, who find it to be a fun, fast-action game for all skill levels — the colour-coordinated indicators, forgiving layout, and initial rules make it easy and enjoyable for beginners and casual players, while the higher Modes offer more challenge and rewards for experts. The biggest criticism is that the various game Modes come across as too similar, with variations that feel more like Fake Longevity rather than distinctive challenges.
Table Description:
Star Trek Vengeance Premium (2013) is another outstanding game from designer Steve Ritchie. Based on the new series of Star Trek films, players take on the role of Captain Kirk commanding the USS Enterprise in a figh to save the Federation. The game features easy-to-follow rules for novice players, and an incredible level of depth for experts, with 18 missions to play and 5 multi-ball modes, including three Captain's Chair wizard modes!
The Playfield features spectacular lighting with over 60 tri-colour LEDs, including seven Star Trek shield emblem inserts, colour coded indicate the primary targets in each mission mode. Other notable features include the Warp Core Resonator shaker motor, USS Vengeance Disintegrator Super-Speed ball kicker and custom moulded models of the USS Enterprise, USS Vengeance and two asteroids with LED flashers.
