First impression—"Wow, this is A LOT smaller than I expected." Although it looks like its about the same size as the classic, vintage, Kenner-produced Millennium Falcon, it just feels smaller. This is not a bad thing however—it feels "compact." It's as if Hasbro wanted to put as much as possible into the smallest package. And it suprisingly works.

Despite its smaller size, I really like the compactness of the TOY. It's very easy to palm and grip with one hand. It really manages to balance being a playset vs. toy vehicle. A young child can easily pick this up and pretend to fly around with it—something that would be difficult with the original Millennium Falcon and near impossible with the 2008 Legacy Big Millennium Falcon.

Upon inspecting it, I can tell that A LOT of care went into this. The sculpting and detailing is STELLAR. The surface detail is crisp, fine, and just amazing to look at. There are so many fun play features as well. Various buttons around the ship activate sounds, cannons, etc.

I really like how the toy feels VERY SOLID. All of the pieces clip-in tightly. You're not going to lose the radar dish or top cannon unless you force them out. The only piece you're most likely to lose is the removeable cannon that can be mounted in various areas. The removeable roof which converts into a play area/battle station is a really nice touch too.

Overall, I like this A LOT. It's NOT the definitive toy version of the Millennium Falcon—that title is still reserved for the 2008 Legacy Big Millennium Falcon. Do I like it more than the classic or Power of the Force Millennium Falcon? In many ways, yes I do. I like the compactness of the toy. I love the detailing. I love the play features. BUT I still missing the foldaway ramp and landing gears of the original toy. I do think it's a great trade having more play features—I could easily see a child really digging this toy on Christmas morning or as a birthday gift.

And yes, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Nerf gun. I thought it was silly at first—but once in hand, I was like, "Okay, I'm on board! This is really cool!"

Is it worth the price? I got this on ebay, paid about $15 above retail (that's including shipping too), and I think it's worth every penny. If you already have the 2008 Legacy Big Millennium Falcon, I don't think this warrants a purchase. But I think it's a great alternative to the classic, vintage Millennium Falcon or the Power of the Force one.
