In the game, players assume the role of Darth Vader’s “Secret Apprentice” and embark on a journey during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The game is known for its action-packed gameplay and the ability to wield the Force like never before.
Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, codenamed Starkiller, is a central character in the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. His real name is Galen Marek. He was the son of an Order 66 survivor and was trained from childhood to be the Sith Lord’s secret apprentice.
Starkiller was a phenomenally powerful dark side user. He believed it was his destiny to become a true Sith after the Emperor was inevitably supplanted by Darth Vader. However, he was actually just a pawn in Palpatine and Vader’s plan to destroy the nascent Rebel Alliance, and he was ultimately betrayed by his master.
