This is a comparison video between Starfield Performance Optimizations mod and the original Starfield quality settings.
Mod claims to improve performance, even on potato quality computers, so I give it a test. Apparently, it provides performance uplift everywhere, except it's claimed "potato" quality.
Ironic, isn't it.
Compared Low, Medium, High and Ultra custom setting files against original Starfield settings. However, anything above Medium is tested only for comparison purposes, as Starfield is extremely heavy on CPU, and in my system it's throttled severely. And CPU bottleneck acts as a hardwall for any potential CPU gains from any settings, so it's basically pointless to play at those settings. There still is a performance boost over original Starfield settings, but it's not much, and overall it's pointless to play at that level.
