It is normal because it is wireless and connects to outer space satellites.
Actually, STARLINK is much faster and cheaper compared to other competitors like KACIFIC and other satellite internet providers that are GEOSTATIONARY
Starlink is on LEO(Low it Orbit) which is much closer to Earth, at about 550km while GEO (Geo Stationary) is 35,786 km away from Earth.

On my Experience and Testing.
Starlink is not ideal for Gaming for now. Maybe in the future it will improve once there is a ground station and deploy the 42,000 satellites.
As of February 2023, Starlink consists of over 3,580 mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO),
which communicate with designated ground transceivers. In total, nearly 12,000 satellites are planned to be deployed, with a possible later extension to 42,000.
On my testing Mobile Legends and Call of Duty Mobile is still playable.
I did some gameplay livestream also on Facebook and the performance is good.
Even there is Typhoon Signal number 1.
