Jumped into the StarRupture playtest and put in two solid hours building, exploring, and automating my base—only to have the game crash unexpectedly with no auto-save in place. Brutal. Two hours of progress gone in an instant.
Despite that gut punch, I genuinely had a blast. The game's atmosphere, mechanics, and potential are off the charts. There’s something addictive about grinding out your base and prepping for what’s coming next—even if you know a rogue bug might nuke your session.
If you're jumping into the playtest, save manually and save often.
Auto-save isn’t implemented yet, so don't trust it to have your back.

The stunning world design and immersive environment
Early automation mechanics showing real potential
Combat and exploration already feel tight and impactful
🔧 This test left me very optimistic for the full release. Star Rupture could easily become a top-tier title in the survival + automation genre if development continues in this direction.
