I had the vanquish quests for Plains of Jarin and Iron Horse Mines, both of which contained a lot of enemies that eluded me for a while.

Once finished with those vanquishes on my Dervish, I hopped back onto my Elementalist to continue pursuing Elites. I decided to go after Necromancer elites, which lead me all over the Shiverpeaks (Maw the Mountain Heart, anyone?), into the Charr Homelands (where I do a few quests, too!), and even to Glint's Challenge! (Soul Leech seemed preferable to cap there than in Abaddon's Mouth...)
