After playing the Expanse a bunch these last few days, it occurred to me that day 1 food for crew is pretty limiting.
What if I was able to run ahead, take all the wolf meat, and prepare for a fight when the time was right?
Ideally.. what if I could strike the crew exactly when they were at their weakest. When starvation had taken foot and their health was low.

So that's what I did!
I just wish I'd made bear traps for the Navigator...
