State of Play Predictions & A Spectacular Missed Opportunity for Xbox - Episode 283
36Sony is kicking off Summer Game Fest with their first State of Play in a few months, said to be focused on third party games and a sneak peek of PSVR2 games as well. That, of course, won't stop people (including Sean and Kevin) from getting overhyped, and it also means it's time for some predictions to be made. Star Wars Celebration saw the reveal of the long-rumored sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, now officially known as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. While the first game didn't blow either of the guys away, there is a solid foundation that they both will be fully realized into a great sequel next year. We also got a lot of news about the future of PlayStation from their latest financial results and conference calls, Xbox passed on Spider-Man as an exclusive game before it landed on PS4, Sean is still making his way toward the Dark Souls 3 Platinum, and Kevin revisited an old friend on PS3.
