Stay Away from this Tour in Alaska | NCL Spirit
795Not all tours can be great but when you are paying big Alaska rates, you really want the tour to be amazing. Unfortunately our tour in Juneau was less than impressive. I understand that you cannot predict live animal sightings but when the time is very short during the tour, you are almost guaranteed to not see that much.
I would personally not recommend the Alaska Tales tour if you are visiting Juneau. I would recommend doing a full day at Mendenhall OR doing a full day of whale watching. Find a whale watching tour that spends at least 4 hours in the water. That will give you plenty of time to see the humpbacks in action.
Our time in Ketchikan was AMAZING and such a difference from Juneau. We saw so much wildlife and the narration throughout the journey was fantastic.
