0Mystery abounds in this hidden object adventure game, and eventually vampires maybe. High amounts of forced backtracking wouldn't be a negative if it wasn't for the design decision to arbitrarily gate players ability to explore until unconnected triggers are flipped. A player could walk past the same pile of rubbish a dozen times unable to interact until some plot point decides now they can investigate it for clues. These leaps of logic without foundation can only confuse players.
