I finally got my Steam Deck after over 8 months of waiting. After I opened it up and tried it out, it delivered everything it promised, and is a really good portable system. You even get cool rewards for signing into your Steam Deck with avatars, animated borders, and more for your Steam account. Keep in mind, that this is the most expensive version, so if you got a cheaper version it obviously won't include many of the features I listed. I played TF2 on this, and it was fairly fluid, even though it is partially compatible, so not entirely. However, I have found myself playing Spelunky a lot on this system while watching YouTube, which is surprising since I don't like rouge-likes, but by watching YouTube in the background makes the deaths much less frustrating. If you have one, try playing games with controller support, as those generally have better compatibility than games without them. Of course, also play offline games when planning to travel, because unless you use your phone as a mobile hotspot, you can't play online anywhere. I had fun making this video, even though the editing was frustrating with Shotcut (I should really update it). So final thoughts, stop watching YouTube and start pwning noobs on the toilet!
