While some cracked games will load in steamos using launchers like lutris with win compatibility emulation such as proton or wine its not even close to a stable environment to rely on forn your cracked games library. The only logical choice is to run your pirated library from Windows.

The easiest way to dual boot the steam deck with windows is to install the same windowstogo environment onto all of your sd cards and then copy your cracked game install folders to your sd cards from your PC. You can have multiple sd cards with their own windows installs and the gaming performance is perfectly optimized. This method also works for all other windows games that cannot run in SteamOS (Such as Epic and Rockstar launcher games).

The windows to go install is anywhere from 16gb to 50gb so its best to use an extreme class sd card of 256gb or better. This should ensure you have enough space for any game in your library but usually you can squeeze several games onto a 256 gb card.

In order to achieve maximum performance and compatibility with the steam deck hardware such as the notoriously tricky steam deck controller which has proven very difficult to get working in steamos and windows. The Windowstogo environment requires several 3rd party components and drivers.

I have created a 16GB .vhd virtual disk image that will quickly and easily prep sd cards with a small barebones steam deck piracy optimized windowstogo environment:

Mount the VHD using Windows Disk Manager (right click "this PC", choose "Manage", then "Storage")

Then clone the VHD to your sd cards using aomei partition assistant freeware (This will erase your sd card and install windows2go with all the drivers and optimizations).

Once the clone is complete you can copy your cracked game install folders from your PC onto the SD Cards.
