From time to time a question pops up -
"How to create a SteamOS recovery image I dont have a PC only a Steam Deck???"

Thats why i decided to create this quick video.

For those that installed Windows and want to go back to SteamOS, here is a quick and proven method on how to create a SteamOS recovery image using the Steam Deck itself running Windows.

What's different with this method is that it extracts first the compressed recovery image, so when it's time to burn it to a flash drive / sdcard it is faster!

Remember the downloaded image from Valve is a compressed 2GB file - uncompressed it is around 8GB. If you will burn it directly without uncompressing it will really take a long time!
