"So this is how it goes. I download Steam. It says to move the app to my Applications folder. I move it. I open the app. A message comes up saying "This is the first time you have opened this app. Are you sure you want to open it?" (This is completely normal). I say Yes. The icon bounces for a few seconds then closes. I try to press it a second time, but then it immediately closes without bouncing for a few seconds(no force quit thing opens).

The 1st time it didn't work I right clicked it and pressed "Show Package Contents" I then pressed MacOS and went to OSX 32. I then pressed Steam and it opened in Terminal. It said a bunch of stuff in Terminal*. And it closed. And I'm not sure when this happened but at some point a bunch of files went INTO my main folder. I have tried downloading it again and it hasn't worked yet.

I have Mac OSX Snow Leopard. And if you need me to do advanced things I can do it. I have a Root account so I have a lot of "room" to do things."
