Since June of 2023, games created using AI generation tools have been somewhat banned on Steam. Yesterday Valve announced updates to the Steam policy that clarify how AI can be used to generate assets in your game as well as new policies telling the end users (aka, customers) that your game was generated using AI tools. More or less they just passed all the responsibility on to the developer while enabling AI assets in pretty much all games except oddly enough, live AI in adult titles.
