Steam's Publishing Guideline Change Could Affect Everyone (A Gamedev in Japan's View)
Been awhile since we did a video of this sort on recent news.
Steam recently announced changes to their guidelines which allows them to take down games they deem as violating the rules and standards of their payment processors and their networks all the way down the line to the internet service providers.
Frankly this has the potential for a lot more consequences down the road not just for people who enjoy sussy games but for everyone across the board who enjoys games due to how vague the policy is. Today we go through this in a short video before I go back to editing the other video for next week.
